Todd Ramsay Guest Lecture

This week for my Introduction to Animation Industry 1010 class we had Todd Ramsay, Partner/CCO of Yeti Farm Creative come in as a guest speaker to talk a bit about his experiences in the industry.

I found the talk to be very informative about the kind of experience I might have in the industry and it was very helpful to hear from somebody who hires people in my position. It's very beneficial to know what to work towards in order to secure a job. I feel like I also learned more about how studios work from the inside, like what kind of workload, quotas, etc. to expect.

I was also very interested in hearing about Yeti Farm and how it was started. I was impressed that Mr. Ramsay talked about the culture of the studio (and the dogs) first and foremost because that's an aspect I feel quite a few places leave out when promoting their studios but is a very important aspect of any workplace. Hearing about how Mr. Ramsay began his career and eventually started Yeti Farm definitely makes me grateful for how the industry has progressed in recent years.
